Taylor Swift’s Bracelet Boosts Sales for Jewelry Company Wove

Last year, NPR shared the story of a jewelry company called Wove, founded by two combat veterans. Wove allows couples to design a ring and receive a 3D-printed replica before purchasing a real diamond. The company had been successful, especially after partnering with military commissary stores. However, their business took off even more when they connected with golfer Michelle Wie West, who helped design jewelry that donated profits to wildfire relief in Hawaii. Through Wie West, they were introduced to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, who wanted to design a bracelet for his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Kelce worked with Wove to create a diamond bracelet with the letters TNT. It is believed that he gave it to Swift for Christmas. The couple’s public displays of affection, such as Swift hugging Kelce at a game with the bracelet on full display, had a significant impact on Wove’s sales. Co-founder Andrew Wolgemuth revealed that sales have increased by about 2,000% in the past two weeks.

While Wolgemuth remains tight-lipped about any potential engagement ring purchases, he and his team are prepared for the possibility if Kelce decides to propose after the Super Bowl this weekend.
