A Lego superfan from Countesthorpe in Leicestershire has achieved his childhood dream by designing a new Lego kit. John Cramp’s winning idea, a red London phone box, is now being manufactured and sold by the Danish company. Cramp submitted his design to Lego Ideas, a program where Lego enthusiasts compete to have their concepts made into reality. This victory is one of his greatest accomplishments, according to the 43-year-old.

Mr. Cramp, who works at the Mountsorrel and Rothley Community Heritage Centre, beat thousands of other Lego fans to win the contest. The red London phone box kit is now available for purchase.
